Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Your Rights Under California Law

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information.

Happy Waggie Tails does not sell your personal information. We do not exchange your data for monetary compensation with any third party.

However, under CPRA’s broad definition of “sharing,” the use of analytics cookies (Google Analytics) may qualify as sharing data with a third party for cross-context behavioral analytics. We give you full control over this.

What Data Is Involved

The only non-essential data processing on this site is Google Analytics 4, which collects:

  • Pages visited and time on site
  • Approximate geographic location (country/region level)
  • Device type and browser information
  • Anonymized IP address

When you opt out, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all — no data is collected or shared.

As a California resident, you also have the right to:

  • Right to know: Request what personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to delete: Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Right to correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: We do not collect sensitive personal information.
  • Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through our contact page. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request under CCPA/CPRA. Non-essential cookies will not be loaded unless you explicitly accept them through our consent banner.
